About Brandon

Hi, I’m Brandon. I’m a professional dog trainer with a Master Obedience certification from Tarteel Canine School for Dog Trainers. I’ve loved dogs since I was young, and I’m fascinated by the ways they communicate and how we can build real understanding with them. Looking back, it feels like it was only a matter of time before I discovered my passion for dog training. People often talk about their job and their hobby as two different things. For me, what began as a hobby grew into my career, and I feel fortunate that they are one and the same. I can’t imagine a day without looking down to see a dog beside me, ready to learn and share an understanding with me.

My Story

I served three years in the military as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. During that time, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and being part of something bigger than myself.

After completing my contract, I decided to follow my passion for dogs and pursue training as a career. Like many transitions, it wasn’t easy at first. I had no idea where to begin, so I spent days dropping off applications at dog training facilities, just hoping for a break. One day, after leaving yet another application, a fellow veteran ran after me in the parking lot. He told me about Tarteel Canine School for Dog Trainers and I didn’t hesitate to sign up.

I enrolled in their six-month program, where I gained hands-on experience with both pet and police dogs. I excelled in the program and was offered a training position in Virginia before I even graduated. While I loved my time there, I knew it was time to come home to Cleveland and do what I love most: helping people and their dogs live better lives together.
